Voltic is a company building the future of clean shipping through electric cargo vessels — and it’s backed by Y Combinator.
It is on a mission to make zero-emission cargo shipping the new normal, replacing fuel-based fleets with solar and battery-powered vessels, while building the infrastructure to support it. It’s not just about electric ships — it’s about rethinking how logistics can be sustainable, scalable, and future-ready.
For this 10k Designers assignment, I chose to redesign Voltic’s landing page to bring more clarity, trust, and visual structure to how it tells its story.
The focus wasn’t just on UI polish — it was on designing a site that could reflect the scale and seriousness of their mission, while still feeling modern and future-facing.
This case study breaks down how I approached the redesign with a UI and brand-first lens.
UI Designer
This was a solo redesign sprint where I focused on reimagining Voltic’s landing page with a stronger visual and brand presence:
I wanted to push myself with something outside the usual B2C flow — Voltic gave me that chance.
This project let me explore storytelling, UX copy, and visual hierarchy for a real brand in the sustainability space.
